Meet Peta Gaye Francis
Financial Coach | Founder of Vault & Virtue Financial
My relationship with money started long before my career did.
I grew up in Jamaica, where financial resources were limited and stability felt out of reach. When I moved to the United States, I stepped into a financial system I didn’t understand.
I remember trying to buy my first car with no credit, without even knowing what credit was.
That moment didn’t discourage me. It changed me.
It made me realize how much opportunity exists, but only if you understand how the system works.
Long before I worked in financial services, I was already the person friends came to with money questions.
Helping people understand their finances didn’t feel like work. It felt like purpose.
That curiosity led me into a 13-year career in banking and credit unions, where I worked my way from teller to financial center manager.
Over the years, I sat across from hundreds of hardworking people who were doing most things right but still felt stuck.
The missing piece was never effort. It was always a strategy.
I knew I wanted to do more.
I wanted to show up for people without limitations, without rushed conversation or one-size-fits-all advice.
That’s how Vault & Virtue was created.
The name reflects everything I believe about money.
Vault represents security, protection, and long‑term growth. Virtue represents integrity, purpose, and values-driven decisions.
Together they represent what guidance should feel like: Safe. Honest. And built around your real life.
Today, I work with individuals who are ready to stop guessing and start building. Whether that means getting out of debt, creating a financial system that works, or preparing for the milestone of homeownership, the work always starts with strategy.
Because no matter what your goal is — buying a home, getting out of debt, or finally feeling in control of your money, the path forward is the same. Understand your position. Build the right strategy. Execute with intention.
That’s where most people get stuck. And that’s exactly where I come in.
My Approach
With 13 years of experience in financial services and as an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) candidate, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding to every client I work with.
My approach is simple:
I listen first
I don’t judge
I build strategies that fit your real life, not a perfect version of it.
Because there is no one-size-fits all plan.
What It’s Like To Work With Me
When you work with me you can expect:
Honest, clear guidance
A judgment-free space
A plan tailored specifically to you
Accountability with encouragement, no pressure
I’ll help you understand your full financial picture, take control of your decisions, and move forward with confidence.

Our Mission
We help people build real financial confidence — not by earning more, but by doing more with what they already have. Using 13 years of inside banking knowledge, we turn confusion into clarity and give every client a plan that actually works for their life.
Our Vision
A future where your income doesn't limit your potential. We believe everyone deserves access to smart financial strategy — not just people who already have money. Vault & Virtue exists to close the gap between what you earn and what you're actually building.
What We Stand For
Strategy First — Every client gets a plan built around their real life, not a one-size-fits-all template.
Radical Honesty — We talk about money without shame or sugarcoating. You deserve the truth, delivered with respect.
Earned Credibility — 13 years inside the banking system means we know how it really works — and how to make it work for you.
Accessible Excellence — High-level financial thinking shouldn't only be for the wealthy. We bring that same quality to everyday people.
Long-Term Thinking — We're not here for a quick fix. We help you build habits and systems that create lasting financial health.
Empowerment Over Dependency — You leave knowing more than when you came. Every session is designed to build your knowledge and confidence, so you can make smart money decisions long after we’re done working together.
