My Story
I grew up in Jamaica, where financial resources were limited and opportunities often felt out of reach.
When I moved to the United States, I entered a financial system I didn't fully understand. I remember trying to purchase my first car without any credit history and not even knowing what credit was.
That experience changed everything. It showed me how many opportunities are available when you understand the financial system—and how frustrating it can be when no one teaches you how it works.
That purpose led me into a 13-year career in banking and credit unions, where I worked my way from Bank Teller to Financial Center Manager. Throughout those years, I sat across from hundreds of hardworking individuals and families.
What I discovered was simple:
Most people aren't failing because they're irresponsible.
They're struggling because they don't have a strategy.
That's why I created Vault & Virtue Financial Coaching.
